    Information for charitable organizations and schools:

    Our charity/school is not listed on www.pawscorp.com - can we register for online donations?

    Yes, simply complete the secure online donation registration form HERE and a pawscorp.com representative will contact you. To be part of the FREE pawscorp.com online donation service you must be a qualified charitable organization.

    In order to be a qualified charitable organization, and start raising money with pawscorp.com your charity must provide the following information:

  • A certificate of registration or incorporation as a company or an incorporated association or alternative documentation showing your charity's non-profit status.
  • A copy of the letter from the Internal Revenue Services advising your charity of its tax exempt status.
  • A statement from your charity setting forth the reason or purpose for the fundraising and the intended use of the funds raised

    Once our checks are complete a pawscorp.com representative will contact you and your charity will be added to our Charity Partners section. In addition, your charity's name will be accessible to every pawscorp.com shopper excluding customers originating from another charity's pawscorp.com link or badge). Next, pawscorp.com badges will be created for use on your website (this "badge" ensures your charity receives 100% of the donations from customers originating from your website.)     Does our charity have to sign a contract?

    Our standard contract protects your charity's rights to the donations pawscorp.com collects from purchases and the timing of bank account deposits. It also guarantees access to our Online Fundraising Manager Tool (an online and secure password protected service that tracks donations made only to your charity in real-time) see #7 below. Charities can cancel their service at any time.

    What is a pawscorp.com "badge" and "email link" and how do they benefit my charity or school?

    This example pawscorp.com badge works like an affiliate banner. The code contained with the badge will automatically connect the customer to www.pawscorp.com and identify your charity (or school) as the recipient of the 10% donation amount. Alternative badge images are available for free. Please request the badge from pawscorp.com or the charity administrator, as the embedded code is specific to each charity.

    Post your specific "badge" on your website and/or any social networking page and attract more donations! The pawscorp.com badge is essentially a picture banner (html code) link to www.paswcorp.com. When clicked, this code tells our computer to direct 10% of the shopper's final purchase price to your charity or school. Give this html code to your webmaster or simply paste it in your organization's myspace page or other social networking site. These badges are charity or school specific so the more you post your charity banner the more donations your charity or school will receive! This is a wonderful compliment to your existing online fundraising efforts because it raises money year round. In addition, by letting your members (or students) post this badge on their websites and social networking pages your organization will receive 100% of the donations from shoppers who "clicked-through" from their sites too! Your fundraising administrator can track, through our Online Fundraiser Manager Tool, the number of hits your badges have received. This is a fun and safe way to raise money online in one of the fastest growing industries around!

    Remember-- Charities and schools are responsible for the distribution of their badges. Pawscorp.com will provide badges only through our password protected Online Fundraising Manager Tool which is accessible only to your charity or school's designated fundraiser administrator.

    This is what shoppers will see when they click on an affiliate pawscorp.com badge or email link. They will be directed to the pawscorp.com website. Your charity (or school's) name will appear on the top header of the pawscorp.com homepage adding a personalized look to your pet supplies fundraiser! After a customer completes their order a receipt showing the charity or school's name, purchase price and donation amount will be sent to the customer for their records and to the charity or school, through our Online Fundraiser Manager Tool. Charities are instantly notified whenever a purchase-donation has been made!

    A pawscorp.com email link (example: http://www.pawscorp.com/YOURCHARITY) is the website address (URL) for your charity or school's pawscorp.com fundraiser. Email this link to your membership so they know where to shop for pet products and donate to your charity with every purchase.

    Will pawscorp.com provide any marketing materials?

    Yes. Pawscorp.com will provide free printed postcard sized flyers for distribution to your membership or students if requested. These flyers are printed with your charity's name, ordering instructions and the web address of your exclusive pawscorp.com fundraising site! Small (20 page) and large (110 page) paper catalogs of our most popular products are available for your members or students without internet access (there is a fee for the cost of printing these catalogs).

    Do I have to set up a new banking account?

    No, all donations will be sent electronically to your existing bank account with a reference code. All payments will be sent monthly and you will receive an email alert every time a donation is made. You will have password protected access to our Online Fundraiser Manager so you can monitor every transaction.

    How does a pawscorp.com customer donate to a charity or school?

    After a qualified charity has registered with pawscorp.com (a free service) their charity's name will appear on a menu which is accessed when the customer checks out and pays for their pet supplies. The customer will be able to choose any single charity or school from the menu and the donation amount will be shown clearly to the customer before they click "buy". After the customer pays for their pet supplies an e-receipt and hard copy receipt showing the purchase price, donation amount and charity or school's name will be sent to both the customer and the charity. Charities and schools are immediately notified whenever a donation is made to their organization through the Online Fundraiser Manager Tool.

    Will I be able to monitor donations made to my charity or school?

    Yes. Thanks to our pawscorp.com Online Fundraising Manager Tool, your fundraiser administrator will have secure, 24 hour a day access to your charity's real-time donation totals and electronic banking transfer information. Through this software, charities and schools can view donation amounts, track deposits to their bank account and update their contact and banking information.

    How long will it take for my qualified charitable organization to receive its donation?

    Customers have 30 days to return any product for a full refund and 45 days to return products for in-store credit. Therefore every purchase donation must be held for 30 days (up to the day on which our customer's return and exchange guarantee expires). Donations will begin to be deposited on a monthy basis into your bank account 30 days after the purchase was made. Every donation, regardless of the date on which it was made, can be tracked through your charity's Online Fundraiser Manager Tool accessible from the pawscorp homepage so you, as the fundraiser administrator, will have the most up to date information available.

    Can a shopper donate to more than one charity or school when they shop at pawscorp.com?

    There are two ways to enter the pawscorp.com store, one is with no affiliate link (www.pawscorp.com) or one from an affiliate link or email (see above for more information) from a charitable organization.

    If the shopper logs into pawscorp.com and shops for pet products by selecting the default home page (no affitilate link), they are allowed to shop and donate to any charitable organization who has registered with us. Upon checkout, a menu will be displayed asking the shopper which organization to donate to.

    If the shopper has arrived at the pawscorp.com storefront from another charitable organization's website (by clicking on a pawscorp.com badge or link as described above), their donation will automatically be sent to the charity from which they originated. In this case they will not have the ability to pick from a list of charities. The pawscorp.com header banner will automatically reflect which organization they will be helping.

    Does pawscorp.com store customer credit card information?

    No. In the best interest of the shopper, pawscorp.com does NOT store customer's credit card information. The shopper is redirected to our credit card merchant who processes the shopper's credit card using secure SSL encryption. Pawscorp.com will process the order when once we receive a automated confirmation from that merchant that the purchase was completed successfully.

    How does a pawscorp.com shopper donate to a school or charity?

    After a qualified charity has registered with pawscorp.com (a free service) their school or charity's name will appear on a menu which is accessed when the customer checks out and pays for their pet supplies. The customer will be able to choose any single charity or school from the list and the donation amount will be clearly displayed to the customer before clicking "buy". After the customer pays for their pet supplies an e-receipt and hard copy receipt showing the purchase price, donation amount and charity or school name will be sent to the customer and to the charity or school the customer picked from the menu. Charities are immediately notified whenever a donation is made to their organization through the purchase of pawscorp.com pet supplies.

    If you have found pawscorp.com through a charity badge or link on the internet, your donation will be automatically routed to the charity or school to which that particular badge or link was assigned.     What do I do if my order was declined or I have problems with the checkout process?

    Your order may not have been accepted because
  • your credit card information was not entered correctly.
  • Your cardholding bank has denied the transaction because of insufficient funds or cancellation of account.

    Please contact your bank/card issuer if you transaction is denied. If you are having any problems during the checkout process, please call us at 1-866-929-PAWS or email us at info@pawscorp.com.

    Will I receive a confirmation when my purchase has been processed?

    Yes, you will receive an order confirmation once payment is made at the checkout step. This order confirmation is sent via email to you automatically. If you would like to change your order you will have 24 hours to reply to this order confirmation email and make any necessary changes. Not replying to the Order Confirmation within 24 hours will be considered confirmation of your order. Once the purchase is confirmed, Pawscorp.com will process the order as acknowledged and is not responsible in the event that the customer failed to make changes prior to delivery. Please read our shipping and returns policy before placing an order.

    What will I see on my bank or credit card statement?

    Your statement will show the words "Paws Corporation" along with the purchase price. A receipt showing your total donation amount will be emailed to you along with a hard copy included with your order. Please keep this receipt as proof of your donation. Pawscorp.com will keep records of all customer donations for IRS confirmation.

    Will I have to register with PawsCorp to make a purchase?

    Yes, In order to successfully complete a purchase, you will be given the opportunity to securely register your name, shipping address, email and so on. This information is required to complete a purchase and to allow pawscorp.com to send you email regarding your order. Please write down your username and password.

    How do I recover my password if it is lost?

    You can recover your password online by selecting "lost password". It will ask you some security questions and upon successfully answering those, the system will automatically email you your password to you. If this does not work, or your email is incorrect, please call us directly at 1-866-929-PAWS or email us at info@pawscorp.com and we'll help you.

    Will I be able to log in and check my order status once the order is placed?

    Yes, When you make a purchase, you will automatically receive a confirmation email with your order details, as well as several handy link to help you stay informed on the status of your order. Once your order has been processed and shipped, you'll receive a follow up email informing you of the change in order status, along with tracking information that will allow you to pin point exactly where your order is while in transit. Further, you can also view your order details, as well as track recent orders you've placed with us by signing in and viewing your account. Within your ACCOUNT, you'll find links to several helpful tools, including a link to your ORDER HISTORY which allows you to view your order's status, as well as track your package once it's been shipped. Lastly, you can reprint your tax receipt at any time.

    Yes, we have a paper catalog which is available upon request or you can call us and we'll take your personal information over the pohone so you don't have to enter it over the internet.

    What if my favorite charity or school is not listed on pawscorp.com?

    If your favorite charity is not listed on our website please click on the "Refer a Charity" online form. We will contact the charity and inform them of your referral. You may also contact the charity or school directly and let them know about our service. There is a "Sign-up Your Charity" link on the pawscorp.com homepage where a new qualified charity can register and begin receiving donations.

    Does pawscorp.com take a portion of the donation amount?

    No. Pawscorp.com donates the entire amount shown on your receipt to the charity you selected. Charities listed on pawscorp.com have 24/7 real-time access to donation information and are notified every time a purchase is made. Our charities know exactly how much money in donations to expect from the second you purchase a product to the moment the 30 day return policy expires and funds are sent to them.

    I never received my order, what should I do?

    Although very rare, packages do sometimes get lost in transit. If you happen to be one of those unlucky few, we will assist you in filing a claim with the shipping company responsible for the error. However, if the tracking number indicates that your package has been delivered to your address, we cannot be held responsible, and it will be up to you to dispute delivery with the carrier.
